President of the Appeal Tribunals

Job Details

To be eligible for appointment as the President of the Appeal Tribunals, a person must, by the anticipated date of appointment (8 April 2025):

 • be a member of the Bar of Northern Ireland, or solicitor of the Court of Judicature of Northern Ireland, of at least 10 years standing; or 

• have a general qualification within the meaning of section 71 of the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990 of at least 10 years standing; or 

• be an advocate or solicitor admitted in Scotland of at least 10 years standing
