In April 2022, Jemma Smyth, and Georgia Holley from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queens University in Belfast, attended the final of the International Client Consultation Competition, hosted online by the Swansea Law School.
Jemma and Georgia had won the Law Societyâs Regional Heat of the National Client Consultation Competition in February 2022.
At the opening ceremony they met with representatives and teams from Germany, USA, Canada, Uzbekistan, Brazil, England/Wales, and the Netherlands many of whom they would face in the rounds ahead of them.
