Law Society lends its support to ‘National Apprenticeship week’

The President of the Law Society of Northern Ireland, Brigid Napier joined Phil Allen, the Curriculum Area Manager for IT Services at Belfast Metropolitan and Fiona Dowds, Law Society Human Resources Manger, to lend the Law Society's support to National Apprenticeship week which runs from 7th â 13th February 2022.
 

National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) 2022, celebrates the positive impact apprenticeships bring to employers, individuals, and the economy.
 

Commenting the President said:
 

"The Law Society is delighted to lend its support to NAW and to highlight the importance of apprenticeships to local businesses and to building a more confident workforce for the future. 
 

As part of our commitment to the apprenticeship programme we will be working with Belfast Metropolitan College to appoint a trainee from the Higher-Level Apprenticeship in Cyber Security and Networking Infrastructure programme."
 

Phil Allen, the Curriculum Area Manager for IT Services at Belfast Metropolitan College said:
 

"We are delighted for the Law Society's support, and we would encourage other local businesses to consider supporting apprentices within their community."
