Introducing The Judicial Profile and The Person Specification
NIJAC has recently completed a review of the Personal Profile it uses to assess applicants for judicial office. This Review, which has included consultation with a range of presiding judicial office holders and the respective professional bodies, has concluded that a new Profile (to be known as The Judicial Profile) will be introduced.
Further to the introduction of the new profile there will also be a new process of job analysis for each judicial role which will identify a particular Person Specification for each role.
This will offer flexibility and be reflective of how judicial roles are expected to function now and into the future.
Potential applicants are advised to read the material provided on the NIJAC website and access the information videos to familiarise themselves with the new approach and how it will affect Assessment and Selection in Northern Ireland.
