It is with regret that the Law Society of Northern Ireland notifies members of the passing of Mr William Samuel Hewitt (Billy) Lavery who died on 1st April 2022.
Mr Lavery was admitted as a solicitor in 1954 and he practiced as a solicitor in Glass & Lavery and then on his own in WHS Lavery.
Before he retired he worked for CFR.
He was very involved with the IRFU charitable trust having
played rugby himself while at school and maintained a lifelong interest in it.
The Law Society extends its condolences to his family, friends, and former colleagues.
Funeral service in the Chapel of Unity, Methodist College Belfast at 11.00am on Monday 11th April (car parking available in the school grounds).
A private committal to follow at Roselawn Crematorium.
