with Institute of Legal Finance & Management (ILFM)
The Law Society of Northern Ireland has announced the launch of a new partnership with the Institute of Legal Finance & Management (ILFM) which aims to provide professional support and accredited training to finance and support staff working within local solicitor firms.
The ILFM is the only UK professional body providing qualifications, training, knowledge, support, and information for anyone working in legal finance and in legal practice management.
They are widely acknowledged as the primary resource of choice for thousands of leading professionals in the legal sector, including many considering a new career in the legal sector.
Their members include legal cashiers/bookkeepers, accounts managers, practice managers and sole practitioners and they offer recognised professional qualifications, regular training days on issues relevant to the industry, regulatory information and many support features and services, including an industry journal.
The ILFM itself has recently partnered with the Institute of Legal Secretaries and PAs (ILSPA) to provide end to end training and professional development for all support staff working in solicitor firms.
Commenting on the new partnership, Alison Grundle, Head of Member Services said:
"We are delighted to launch the new partnership with ILFM which will offer local solicitor firms the opportunity to provide dedicated professional development to their support staff. The new partnership reflects the Society's ongoing commitment to supporting local solicitor firms and I would encourage all to sign up for the information/launch event."
