Solicitors often must adapt the way they work to meet innovations and new standards in the legal sector.
In May 2022, the Lady Chief Justice approved of the use of e-bundles “where permitted by existing Practice Directions or by direction of the court”.
This information session will show solicitors how to create e-bundles with the Bar Library’s OBBS system in a way that is compliant with any Court Order or Practice Direction.
Attendees will come away from this session with an understanding of:
- the uses and benefits of e-bundling.
- how the Bar Library’s OBBS system works.
- the regulations and practice directions surrounding the use of e-bundles.
- how the OBBS system complies with those regulations and in particular Practice Direction No 2 of 2022.
This session will be delivered by Stephen Graham, Bar Library NI. Stephen has been a member of the Bar’s Library and Information Services team for over 20 years and more recently has been appointed as the Bar’s e-Bundle Specialist. He has assisted both solicitors and barristers with the Bar’s OBBS e-bundle system which has helped the professions comply with the various e-bundle Practice Directions and Guidance Notes.
