The Law Society is very aware that practitioners require assistance and upskilling to help them interact with clients who may be vulnerable or less able than others.

Safeguarding is on everyone’s mind and professionals need to adapt their skills to assist them to engage with a vast range of clients, some of whom may not be as able to provide sufficient and succinct instructions, as others to ensure they are adequately protected and receive proper advice.

This bespoke three-hour session will assist delegates to recognise challenges experienced by vulnerable clients, understand how those challenges affect their ability to give instructions and receive advice, identify different strategies to enable effective communication using practical examples.

Practitioners in all areas of business will benefit from the content of this session – as will their clients.

The session will be delivered by Fiona Donnelly.
