This event will feature a networking lunch, followed by an afternoon of interactive sessions that will bring together legal professionals, academics, and human rights experts to explore the growing influence of AI-powered technologies on the justice system in Northern Ireland. Together, we will examine how a rights-based approach can help ensure these developments serve the public good and uphold fundamental legal protections.

Our current lineup of speakers includes:

  • Sir Bernard McCloskey KC – Lord Justice of Appeal
  • Dr Ciaran O’Kelly – Academic, Queen’s University Belfast
  • Alyson Kilpatrick – Chair of the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission
  • Hugh Widdis – Department of Justice Permanent Secretary

...with further speakers will be announced in due course.

4 CPD hours in the Group Study category are available for attendees.
