The Law Society of Northern Ireland regularly publishes advertisements for job vacancies on its website.
The Society charges a fee which varies depending on the person(s) or organisation requesting the service. Prices listed below are applicable from 1 January 2026.
Government and Commercial Businesses
These advertising rates apply to:
Government departments and Government‑funded organisations
All commercial businesses, excluding law firms practising in Northern Ireland

All non-member organisations, including those listed above, wishing to submit a job advertisement should do so by completing the following form and returning it to media@lawsoc-ni.org.
Member Firms
At present, member firms (law firms practicing in Northern Ireland) are not charged a fee for advertising vacancies with the Society. Instead, we kindly encourage a donation to the Solicitors Benevolent Association.
Member firms wishing to submit a job advertisement should do so by completing the following form and returning it to media@lawsoc-ni.org.
How to advertise a job vacancy?
Before a vacancy can be uploaded to the Society’s website or included in its newsletters, the Society requires a copy of the advertisement for consideration. This should be submitted by email to media@lawsoc-ni.org. This applies to both member firms and non-member organisations – included those listed above.
Please note that while the Society is happy to consider requests relating to advertising, it reserves the right not to publish advertisements.
