As the legal profession plays a vital role in promoting responsible business and upholding societal values, LSNI recognises the importance of responding to the climate emergency. That’s why we are funding places for solicitor firms to participate in the Climate Action Programme — a comprehensive and accredited training opportunity that empowers organisations to reduce their carbon emissions and plan for a net-zero future.

Through this initiative, we aim to:
Equip solicitors with practical tools to lead on environmental responsibility
Support firms in measuring, understanding, and reducing their carbon footprint
Encourage ambitious, public commitments to climate action
Ensure the legal sector plays its part in shaping a more sustainable future

Participants in the Climate Action Programme will:
Become Carbon Literacy Accredited
Measure and reduce their organisation’s carbon footprint
Set ambitious climate targets
Make a public Climate Action Pledge
