This session will concentrate on what title insurance is, how it can aid real estate transactions and most importantly how to obtain the right policy for your clients. It will offer an insight into underwriters’ key considerations for more standard and also niche title risks, before diving into some examples of title indemnity in action.

This session will be delivered by Sarah Gateaud-Manase, an experienced commercial underwriter in the DUAL Title & Indemnity team. Sarah works alongside Kirstin Nee in the Scotland and Northern Ireland team and has underwritten a plethora of risks both in the UK and EU over her 9 years at DUAL. Sarahs holds an LLB and LLM, giving her a strong legal background when curating solutions for clients.
