Brendan Kearney & Co Solicitors is seeking an experienced Legal Bookkeeper to join its busy law practice. This is a key role responsible for managing client and office accounts in full compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Regulations issued by the Law Society of Northern Ireland, and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:
•    Maintaining client and office ledgers.
•    Processing receipts, payments, and transfers.
•    Processing Payroll.
•    Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
•    Managing billing, VAT returns, and supplier payments.
•    Preparing financial reports for management.
•    Supporting audit and compliance requirements.


Requirements:
•    Previous experience in a legal bookkeeping role or Legal Accounts Manager.
•    Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Regulations.
•    Experience with legal accounts software.
•    Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
•    Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
•    Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
•    An excellent understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
