About the Role

James F Fitzpatrick Solicitors is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Litigation Solicitor to join its busy and growing Personal Injury Department. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of claimant personal injury matters and provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who is passionate about litigation and committed to delivering outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of personal injury claims from inception through to settlement or hearing.
  • Advising clients on liability, quantum and litigation strategy.

  • Drafting pleadings and legal correspondence.

  • Instructing and liaising with medical experts, counsel and other professionals.
  • Attending court hearings and settlement negotiations.
  • Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland with at least 2 years' PQE.

  • Experience handling personal injury litigation matters.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client care.
