Mid Ulster District Council is recruiting two solicitors – one on a permanent basis, and one on a temporary 12-month contract with possibility of extension or establishment.
If you have a background and interest in land and property matters as well as title reviews, Mid Ulster District Council has two great opportunities on its legal team, dealing with its land and property caseload (permanent full time solicitor role) and also to work on its asset register project (temporary part time solicitor role).
The postholders will be responsible to the Assistant Director Finance, Legal, Governance & Transformation and/or the Strategic Director of Corporate Services/Finance for the provision of a comprehensive legal service, advice and advocacy to the Council in relation to an assigned caseload.
The caseload will primarily be in relation to land and commercial property matters and regulatory matters but will include other matters across the Council’s wide range of functional responsibilities.
