We are pleased to welcome Mark Borland as our newly elected President

Mark, a senior partner at Conway Todd & Co. in Antrim, brings more than 30 years of practice experience and a strong commitment to support solicitors across Northern Ireland. His presidential year will focus on two priorities members have consistently told us matter most:

  • Strengthening the Society’s connection with members, and
  • Championing fair remuneration across the profession.

A full conversation with the President will be published in the next issue of The Writ, including his plans for the year ahead, views on the profession, and reflections on practice and community life. From his roots in small-firm practice to his work supporting the Local Association Forum, Mark speaks openly about collegiality, practical support for solicitors, and the need for the Society to communicate its work more clearly and consistently.

Members can read the complete interview in the Winter edition publishing in the coming weeks, but in the meantime we hope you show support for Mark Borland as he takes on this role.
