The Law Society of Northern Ireland has joined with Concern Worldwide to support the Water for Gaza Appeal, which has already raised more than £170,000 in just a few weeks.
The legal community across Northern Ireland has shown remarkable generosity, with firms and individual solicitors contributing to the early momentum behind the campaign. The Appeal aims to raise £250,000 within 12 weeks, enabling Concern to extend lifesaving water and sanitation support to 21,000 children and families living in severe crisis.
About the Appeal
Concern Worldwide and its humanitarian partner, CESVI, are working on the ground in Gaza to restore essential water and sanitation services. Current efforts include:
- Restoring access to clean, safe drinking water
- Repairing damaged water networks
- Installing emergency sanitation facilities
- Supporting shelters and reducing the spread of disease
All funds raised are entirely humanitarian and nonpolitical, grounded in the principles of neutrality, impartiality and independence.
