It is with deep regret that the Law Society of Northern Ireland notifies members of the passing of Tony McGettigan, solicitor and past President of the Law Society of Northern Ireland. Tony passed away on 12th June 2024.
He was admitted to the Roll in June 1975 and was the principal of P J Flanagan & Co in Enniskillen before retiring in June 2023.
Commenting on his passing Darren Toombs, the President of the Society said:
"Tony was well respected amongst his colleagues as a man of great humour, compassion and commitment to his profession serving as President of the Law Society in 1993. He will be remembered fondly and missed by many.
The Society offers its deepest condolences to his wife Anne, his son Chris and family as well as his colleagues and friends in P J Flanagan & Co".

9am Saturday 15th June, and burial afterwards at Milltown Cemetery.
