Society hosts inaugural regional cluster event

The Society this week hosted the first of a new series of regional cluster events in Omagh, bringing local solicitors together to share knowledge, discuss common challenges and strengthen support networks for the effective running of their practices.

The events are part of a locally focused programme allowing the Society to engage with solicitor associations, respond to their needs and deliver professional development opportunities. 

Speaking after the event held in the Silverbirch Hotel, Society President Mark Borland said:

“It was a pleasure to welcome solicitors from Fermanagh, Omagh and Dungannon to the Law Society’s inaugural regional cluster event this week.

“The afternoon provided an important opportunity for colleagues to connect, share their experiences and explore practical approaches to some of the challenges facing local practices, from regulatory compliance to attracting and retaining talented people in their community.

“Solicitors play a vital role in communities across Northern Ireland. This event marks the beginning of a locally focused programme through which the Society will work alongside solicitor associations to engage with members, respond to their needs and support strong, sustainable legal practices throughout the region.”
