The Society was pleased to welcome Jo Farrar, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, to Law Society House yesterday for a roundtable on the growth of the legal services sector in Northern Ireland.
The roundtable focused on the opportunities and challenges facing the sector – including how devolution in Northern Ireland might impact the delivery of its legal services – and the potential for innovation through law tech and AI.
Alongside representatives from the Society and The Bar of Northern Ireland, the event brought together colleagues from Ulster University, The Department for Infrastructure and The Departmental Solicitor's Office.
