The Law Society of Northern Ireland is proud to stand with Concern Worldwide in supporting the Water for Gaza Appeal, a campaign to deliver life-saving clean water to families in desperate need.

Nine in every ten people in Gaza currently have no access to safe water. Children are dying daily from dehydration and preventable disease. Hospitals are overwhelmed and basic sanitation has collapsed.

Together with the Bar of Northern Ireland and partners across the legal sector, the Law Society is backing Concern’s urgent call to raise £250,000 in just 12 weeks. Funds raised will provide safe drinking water, sanitation facilities, and hygiene supplies to up to 21,000 people.

Almost £100,000 has already been raised and, with your support, we can do even more.

How you can help

Why this matters

“At times of crisis, Northern Ireland’s business and legal sectors have always come together to make a difference,” says the Law Society's President Colin Mitchell. “By supporting Concern Worldwide, we can help deliver something as essential as clean water to families in desperate need of help.”

Every donation, every event, and every share makes a real difference. Together, we can help Concern deliver 50,000 litres of safe drinking water every day, install sanitation facilities, and ensure Gaza’s only functioning children’s hospital has the clean water it needs to save lives.
